Bestiary / Aesoland roster
Monster Hunter Outlanders Monsters List
Every known large monster, from the first Great Jagras to the original Elder Dragon Ruger Aidal. Find the weakness, the break that changes the fight and the hunt plan that gets you the material.
Start with the break, not the health bar
Every monster is a puzzle with a weak point.
Outlanders' bestiary mixes returning favorites from the Monster Hunter series with Aesoland-specific variants. Rathalos and Diablos are back, Great Jagras is still the best tutorial, and the new flagship Ruger Aidal turns the endgame into a Radiantite plate break.
Use this database to choose the right element, target the part that changes the fight and avoid farming the wrong break. If you only know one thing about a monster, make it the weakness chart. If you know two, read its hunt plan.
The roster
All known large monsters
Sorted by base monster. Every card leads to a full page with weaknesses, break targets, materials and attack patterns.
Showing 21 monsters
Anjanath
A close-range brawler with a fire cone, a leaping bite and a short temper. Break the legs first and the fight slows down.
Barroth
Mud armor blunts raw attacks and hides its softer hide. Water pressure strips the coating and turns a slow charger into a manageable target.
Black Diablos
A faster, more aggressive Diablos with punishing burrow attacks. Ice weapons, a shield or range, and patient punish windows win the fight.
Diablos
A desert bruiser built around horn charges and surprise burrows. Learn the stop timing, bring Ice, and turn its own momentum into part breaks.
Great Girros
A small pack leader whose paralysis makes a messy fight lethal. Fire AoE and a fast head break thin the pack and stop the setup.
Great Jagras
A forgiving early target with a surprising swallow-and-charge. Break the forelegs, cut the tail and use it to learn each weapon's rhythm.
Jyuratodus
A wetland fighter that hides in mud and punishes straight approaches. Thunder damage and lateral movement keep the fight above water.
Kulu-Ya-Ku
A comedic bird wyvern with a genuinely dangerous rock. Force the drop, punish the recovery and keep the head in reach.
Kushala Daora
An Elder Dragon that controls space with wind pressure and aerial passes. Thunder, ranged pressure and patient punishes are the core plan.
Legiana
A graceful flier that turns the battlefield into ice. Break the wings, bring Thunder and learn which aerial pass ends in a punishable landing.
Nergigante
An Elder Dragon that gets deadlier when left alone. Target the white spikes, manage the dive and keep the pressure on the forelegs.
Odogaron
A frantic, close-range hunter with punishing combos. Stay near the hips, punish after the leap and use Ice to shorten the exchange.
Paolumu
A fluffy flying wyvern with a disruptive wind-sac. Pop the inflated neck, bring Fire and punish the slow landing.
Pink Rathian
A more aggressive Rathian with a poison-heavy tail game. Sever the tail early, respect the flip and use Dragon or Thunder.
Pukei-Pukei
A chameleon-like bird wyvern that controls space with poison breath and a long tongue. Fire damage and a tail cut simplify the fight.
Radobaan
A rolling brute wyvern covered in harvested bone. Break the plating, punish the roll recovery and use Ice to expose the soft body.
Rathalos
The series icon returns with fire, poison claws and a relentless aerial game. Break the wings, cut the tail and learn the landing.
Rathian
A grounded counterpart to Rathalos with fire, poison and a lethal backflip. Sever the tail and learn the head-tilt tell.
Ruger Aidal
Monster Hunter Outlanders' original Elder Dragon. Radiantite armor, golden projectiles and a fight built around breaking plate after plate.
Tobi-Kadachi
A fast climber that charges its fur with lightning. Water damage, a tail cut and patience during wall runs turn the fight around.
Tzitzi-Ya-Ku
A flash-based disruptor that punishes open ground. Thunder damage, raised camera awareness and a quick head break neutralize the show.

Radiant species
The variants hiding in the roster
Radiantite changes a familiar monster into a new hunt. These forms are confirmed in official or closed-beta material; each base page covers the known strategy.
A Radiant form is not just a palette swap. It adds elemental pressure, new projectiles and a separate material route. Treat the base weakness as a starting point, then prepare for the hazard that the transformed hunt introduces.
