MH OUTLANDERSWIKI Aesoland field guide

Trust / sources / corrections

Editorial policy

A fan guide is only useful if you can tell the difference between a confirmed fact, a beta snapshot and an educated guess. This page explains how we make that distinction.

Updated October 25, 2026
In short

Official information wins. Beta data is labeled. Unconfirmed claims stay unconfirmed. Corrections are welcome and pages are dated.

Source order

  • Official: publisher announcements, the game's own site, store listings and verified social channels.
  • Direct test: what we can see or play in a public build, labeled with context.
  • Community evidence: documented findings from trustworthy players. Useful for timing and material gaps, but treated as provisional.

A confident tweet is not stronger than an official announcement. A screenshot from an old beta is not the same as live data. We try to say which one we are using.

Labels we use

LabelMeaning
ConfirmedDirectly supported by an official or live source.
Beta dataObserved in a test build. May change at launch or in a patch.
Pre-launch estimateAnalysis based on the known systems, not a measured final value.
Community reportWidely reported but not independently verified by an official source.

When a guide gets updated

Pages carry a visible “last updated” date. Material changes are noted in the launch log when possible. A balance patch, a new monster or a corrected release detail can change several pages; updating one without the others creates contradictory advice, so we try to fix clusters together.

Independence and advertising

We do not accept payment for rankings, scores or positive coverage. If advertising, sponsorships or affiliate links are introduced, they will be clearly labeled and kept separate from editorial conclusions. A commercial relationship will never be presented as a review score.
