Arkaya overview
Arkaya is the Adventurer you want when the hunt needs someone to hold the monster still. She builds Resolve through steady attacks and can spend it on a powerful shielded blow that creates a massive defensive window. That combination gives her a rare blend of damage and team protection.
Her Support label does not mean passive. A good Arkaya is constantly poking at the head, guarding the right combo and making sure the monster's attention stays away from the Bow and Heavy Bowgun players.

How to play Arkaya
Positioning
Stay in front of the monster, but at a slight angle so the squad's melee weapon can still reach the head. You are the anchor, not the only damage dealer.
Strengths
Excellent survivability, strong team utility and a clear resource loop. She is forgiving for players learning dangerous Elder Dragons.
Weaknesses
Lower personal damage than Assault picks. Her value comes from uptime and the openings her shield creates.
