Set identity
Diablos Armor overview
Diablos armor is a statement: raw damage, blunt force and part breaks. It is the natural set for a Hunter who wants to break horns and finish fights with a handful of enormous hits. The trade-off is that it offers fewer escape hatches than a balanced set.
Its best use is target farming. Build it when Diablos or another raw-weak monster is on your material list, and pair it with a weapon whose moveset you already trust. Do not take a new weapon into a Diablos hunt just because the armor has a high defense number.

Build notes
How to use Diablos Armor
- This set wants you to hit hard and break parts, not trade endless small hits.
- Horn breaks are the bottleneck; plan a dedicated run rather than relying on random rewards.
- Pair the raw focus with a defensive weapon or a shield if the monster is very aggressive.
Mixed set advice
Compare the full-set bonus with the value of one off-set comfort piece. In many cases, a three-piece core plus a targeted second set produces a smoother hunt.
